In conjunction with Education for All Forum (EFA), NZEI Te Riu Roa are hosting an inclusive education Hui on Monday 28 February to Tuesday 1 March 2022. The Hui will be held online due to the red traffic light settings.

The hui brings together educators, disabled people, tamariki, parents and whānau to explore and workshop how a rights-based approach to inclusion can be realised in our education system. By coming together we will:

  • Build common ground and understanding

  • Build power to achieve political and social change

  • Plan to take action together.

Accessibility

We want to ensure your experience is as enjoyable and accessible as possible. We will have NZSL interpreters with us throughout the hui.

If we can do anything else to help you participate fully in the hui please get in touch to let us know.
